The Voron Switchwire is a fresh take on the classic Mendel (also known as the “bedslinger”) design. It features a CoreXZ configuration, where both the X and Z axes are belt-driven (By top quality LDO steppers & silent TMC2209 drivers). By eliminating the typical leadscrew Z drive, the Switchwire achieves rapid Z movement speeds and reduces weight on the gantry. Additionally, the sturdy 3030/3060 frame is precisely sized to cover the entire swing of the Prusa 250x210mm bed, allowing for a natural enclosure.
